Terms of Service

1. The service

Trust Bots ("we," "us") provides Discord bots from our catalog (the "Bots"), along with setup, hosting, updates, monitoring and support (together, the "Service"). "Customer" or "you" means the person or organization buying a plan. "Members" are people in a Customer's Discord server.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract to buy a plan. If you buy for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
• You must own or be authorized to manage the Discord server where the Bots are installed.
• You and your server must follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

3. Bots, credits and add-ons

• Your plan. You choose which Bots and add-ons to subscribe to. Each Bot runs in one Discord server. Prices are shown on our site when you build your plan and on your Stripe checkout page.
• Bundle discount. When your plan includes the minimum number of Bots shown on our site, the listed discount applies to those Bots for as long as your plan qualifies. If you drop below the minimum, the discount ends from your next billing period.
• AI credits. Hosted plans include a monthly pack of AI credits shared by your Bots. Our site lists how many credits each action uses (for example, AI answers, voice replies and minutes of voice monitoring). We may update these rates with 30 days' notice. Monthly credits reset each billing period and don't roll over.
• Reaching the limit. At 80% we notify your staff channel. At 100%, AI features pause until your next billing period unless you add a top-up. Non-AI features keep running. We never charge for extra usage without your approval.
• Top-ups add credits to your balance, don't expire while your subscription is active, and are non-refundable.
• Catalog. Bots marked "coming soon" aren't part of your plan until released and added. Bot features may be improved or changed over time.
• Fair use. Plans are for one Discord server unless we agree otherwise in writing.

4. Billing and renewal

• Payments are processed by Stripe. Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Setup fees are charged once, when you first subscribe or add a Bot.
• Prices are in U.S. dollars and don't include taxes, which are added where required.
• If a payment fails, we'll try again and email you. If it's still unpaid after 7 days, we may pause the Bots until payment is made.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. Changes apply from your next billing period. Yearly plans keep their price until renewal.
• Adding Bots, credits or add-ons takes effect right away and is prorated. Removing them takes effect at your next billing date.

5. Cancellations and refunds

• You can cancel anytime through the billing portal or by emailing us. Cancellation stops future renewals, and your Bots keep running until the end of the paid period.
• Subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partial periods, except where the law requires otherwise.
• Setup fees are refundable only if you cancel before we start setup. Once setup starts, they're non-refundable.
• If we can't deliver the Service we promised and can't fix it within a reasonable time, we'll refund the unused portion of your prepaid fees.

6. Voice and monitoring notice

Some Bots read messages, and voice features listen to and transcribe speech. You must clearly tell your Members, for example in your server's rules channel, which Bots are active and that voice may be transcribed and moderated. You're responsible for complying with laws that apply to you and your Members, including privacy and recording laws. Don't turn on voice features where Members haven't been notified.

7. Acceptable use

You and your Members may not use the Service to:

• break any law or Discord's rules;
• harass, threaten, dox or discriminate against anyone;
• secretly monitor or record people, or collect information about people outside the Service's intended use;
• send spam, run scams or spread malware;
• generate illegal content, sexual content involving minors, or content that violates the AI providers' usage policies;
• deliberately run up AI usage, bypass credit limits, or overload the Service;
• copy, reverse engineer, resell or sublicense the Bots without our written permission; or
• try to access other Customers' data or our systems without permission.

8. AI and religious content

• Bot replies are generated by AI and may be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Don't rely on them for legal, medical, financial or safety decisions.
• Noor's religious answers are general information, not a fatwa or scholarly ruling. For religious rulings, consult a qualified scholar.
• Prayer times are calculated using a standard method and may differ from your local masjid's timetable. Confirm times with your local masjid.

9. Moderation limits

Guardian helps enforce your rules but won't catch everything and may sometimes act on something that wasn't a violation. Sentinel scores joins and may hold, kick or ban an account that turns out to be legitimate; staff can let anyone in from the log channel and restore roles the anti-nuke removed. You remain responsible for your server, your rules and your moderation decisions. You can review and clear strikes at any time.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Bots online around the clock, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service unless we agree to it in writing. We may do maintenance, apply updates, and change or retire features. If we retire a Bot you're using, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and let you choose a replacement.

11. Third-party services

Petal and Kitsune are fan-made. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Nintendo, AniList or any anime studio. Animal Crossing and its characters are trademarks of Nintendo, and show and character names belong to their owners; villager and show details are shown for reference through Nookipedia and AniList.

The Service relies on Discord, AI providers, anime and game data providers (AniList, nekos.best, Nookipedia), Stripe and hosting providers. Their outages, policy changes or decisions (for example, Discord limiting a bot) are outside our control. We'll work to restore service where we can but aren't liable for third-party actions.

12. Ownership and content

• We own the Bots, their software, designs and our brand. During your subscription, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Bots in your server.
• You and your Members keep ownership of your content. You give us permission to process it only as needed to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• You're responsible for content and settings you provide, such as custom greetings, personalities and banned-word lists.
• If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end the Service, with notice when practical, if you break these terms, don't pay, create legal risk, or if Discord or a provider requires it. For serious violations we may act immediately. When the Service ends, your right to use the Bots ends, we remove the Bots, and we delete data as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive.

14. Disclaimers

Except as expressly stated in these terms, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill or server members. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the event that caused the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

16. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims by others arising from your server, your content, your settings, your failure to notify Members, or your breach of these terms or the law.

17. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days. Any lawsuit must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wayne County, Michigan, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction. Either party may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court.

18. General

• We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for significant changes, email Customers at least 14 days in advance. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
• These terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us about the Service, unless we sign a separate written agreement.
• If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a right isn't a waiver.
• You may not transfer these terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger or sale of our business.
• Neither party is responsible for delays caused by events outside its reasonable control.
